ONLY MEMBERS OF A FLORIDA CHURCH OF CHRIST/CHRISTIAN CHURCH ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A SCHOLARSHIP: These churches are described as being under the ordinances of the New Testament in the historic tradition of the non-denominational independent Christian Church/Church of Christ (also known as the "Stone-Campbell Movement" or the "Restoration Movement"). The church will be known as an autonomous non-denominational Christian Church; having no creed but Christ, no book of doctrine but that of the Bible, and members are known as Christians only but not the only Christians. Two Biblical ordinances are followed; baptism by immersion and the observance of the Lord's Supper weekly by the congregation.
